What is Warigami?
Warigami is a real-time strategy game where you command armies of origami warriors on a tabletop battlefield. The game features a unique Fold mechanic that lets your units temporarily transform for tactical advantages.
What platforms will Warigami be available on?
Warigami is being developed for PC (Windows, Mac, Linux). Console versions may be considered after the PC release.
Is Warigami free to play?
Pricing has not been finalized. The current alpha is free for testers.
Why “Warigami”?
The name is a portmanteau of “War” and “Origami” — reflecting the game’s core concept of paper warfare.
Gameplay
How is Warigami different from other RTS games?
The Fold mechanic is what sets Warigami apart. Every combat unit can temporarily refold itself into a different form with unique abilities. This adds a layer of micro-management and tactical depth not found in traditional RTS games. The paper-and-stationery theme also creates a unique aesthetic and resource system.
Can I play against AI?
Yes, a basic AI opponent is available in the current alpha. Advanced AI behaviors are being developed.
Will there be multiplayer?
Yes, LAN multiplayer is currently in development. Online multiplayer with matchmaking is planned for the beta release.
How many factions are there?
Currently there is one playable faction. Three additional factions are planned for the full release, each with unique units and Fold abilities.

- CPU: Intel i5 or equivalent
- RAM: 4 GB
- GPU: Integrated graphics (Intel HD 4000+)
