Personel Pod
The Personel Pod is an armored Profane carrier with a snub pitch cannon -- it holds 4 of any foot unit behind a hide of pressed tar-board.
Personel Pod
The Personel Pod is the Profane province’s answer to the question of moving soldiers safely: don’t fly them over the danger, drive them through it. A squat armored carrier of pressed tar-board, the Pod holds 4 of any foot unit inside a hide tough enough to shrug off the fire that would shred the passengers — and unlike the Pious Pelican, it fights back, poking at threats with a snub pitch cannon as it rolls.
Where the Pelican trades everything for speed and reach, the Pod trades reach for resilience. Cliffs still stop it cold, but water does not: a roof prop spins up and ferries the Pod straight across rivers and lakes, riding the surface with its cargo dry inside. At 240 HP with a working gun it survives the trip in contested territory, and its cargo bay is indifferent to what climbs in — four Poachers, four Piercers, a mixed fist of specialists, whatever the raid calls for. It is printed at the Pitch Priory.
Strategy
The Personel Pod turns slow, fragile folds into a fast, armored problem. Its signature play is the Poacher delivery: drive planted-rifle infantry straight onto the firing line, pop the doors, and start the 2-second stands where the fight actually is. It equally suits shuttling reinforcements across storm-swept ground, extracting a wounded hero fold from a collapsing flank, or parking loaded as a mobile garrison bunker beside a forward Palasade run. The water ferry opens flanks no other ground unit can take: cross the river where there is no bridge, unload behind the enemy’s fortified ford, and let the defenses face the wrong way. The cannon is seasoning, not a meal — roughly 7 DPS will discourage a scout, not win a fight — so treat the Pod as armor for your plans rather than a combatant, and unload the cargo before the hull gives out.
